"The basic education curriculum reform (Trial version)" in our country clearly takes affection,attitude and values with knowledge and skills, process and method listed as three dimensions of targets in basic education, of which the affection, attitudes and values are highly regarded at the first time. Correspondingly, combining with the characteristics of mathematical education, the new promulgated "Mathematics Course Standard" also clearly divides the overall goal of mathematics curriculum into four aspects:knowledge and skills, mathematical thinking, problem solving, affection and attitude, which fully embodies the transformation of mathematics view and mathematics educational view. Education should focus on human development, namely "human-oriented". In mathematics education and teaching, it is important for people's all-round development to raise the student mathematics affection, satisfy their rational and emotional needs, enhance the positive emotion and affection experience.This paper analyzes domestic and foreign literature related mathematical affectional cultivation in literature survey method at first, which defines the meaning of mathematical affection. Then it investigates students' emotional need in learning mathematics and constructs the mathematical emotional classification framework by combining theory with practice. On this basis, it puts the pupils in sixth grade in the urban and suburban country school of Hangzhou and XiAn as respondents and understands the students' mathematical affectional situation through the questionnaire survey. The questionnaire of mathematics primarily surveys the pupils understanding and demand to mathematics, mathematics learning activity and mathematics learning community. By using SPSS 11.5 software, the paper analyses the data in the questionnaire and finds the characteristics of the mathematical affectional situation as follows:1. For the aspects of affection on the scientific mathematics:students' experience of mathematics application value are still superficial; they lack the experience of the beauty in mathematics, especially lack of awareness of harmonious and concise beauty. They have experience of singular beauty and tend to pursue; on mathematics history, they are still limited to static know and eager to dynamic mathematics history show.2. For the aspects of affection on the mathematics learning activity:the students' exploring desires and participation in classroom are not high; for mathematics problem, students are more inclined to solve difficult problems, whereas encountered with difficulty, they lack toughness, frustration endurance and reflection spirit; they generally achieve very low mathematics achievement.3. For the aspects of affection on mathematics learning communities:in learning mathematics, their self-concept is low, such as self trust, self-adjustment, self satisfaction, etc. They lack in security for teachers, but more than half of the students still have positive affection to their mathematics teachers.Generally speaking, most students' affection on mathemations is much complex. More than half of the students have more or less negative affection to mathematics.Meanwhile, they mainly hold instrumental value orientation to mathematics learning. It is high time that we cultivated and strengthened positive affection.Then on this basis, this paper uses qualitative research methods to do interview research to the sixth grade mathematics teachers and students in Hangzhou and XiAn. Based on their emotional needs, this paper puts forward cultivating pupils positive mathematics affection strategies as follows:1. Excavating cultural values of mathematics, satisfying pupils' cognitive needs to develop mathematics interest.2. Participating fully in mathematics problems probing, meet students' achievement needs to achieve the positive affectional experience.3. Constructing harmonious mathematics learning community, satisfying students respect needs to feel happy in cooperative communication.Finally, the cultivating strategy on positive mathematics affection are used in practice through the mathematical affectional teaching case design and implementation. I hope it will help affectional cultivation in mathematics teaching and promote the effective implementation of mathematical teaching affectional goal proposed by the new curriculum.
