| The safety in school campus has been one of the hottest social problems in China. It has become an important public topic for education authority to establish a long-term effective governance mechanism for school security and cultivate students' consciousness for self-protection. It is of great importance to study the characteristic and rules of school governance and call on the whole society's recognition to the school security, and therefore to avoid the campus incidents and promote the health and security level of both teachers and students.Based on the author's experience of school work, how to establish a long-term security governance mechanism in middle school and how to cultivate students' consciousness in security is discussed in the present paper. The main results and points of view are as follows.A long-term security governance mechanism for school safety should be a systematic engineering, a security system, and a work mechanism that assures the school security development completely, harmoniously, and continuously. Authority of middle school must build up the security consciousness such as "the first in safe, "prevent mainly", "paying attention unremittingly", and so on, and set up mechanisms such as education in safety, prevent away from damage in school, cooperation with social communities, system of duty and obligation.The school authority should provides complete, systematic and scientific courses for students in safety to teach and guide students in their daily lives, studies and activities, and therefore, to help them understand the meanings and value of life by setting up their consciousness of "love life and safe first", building their abilities in safe lives, strengthening their abilities in facing crisis or incident. School safety is of great importance for the promotion the peoples' quality, especially for the healthy development of body and mind of young peoples. |
