Yunnan is a multi-nationality country. Each minority in its development process has formed its own unique culture. Cultural also began to diversification. In Multicultural countries, because minorities are often national minorities, its culture has become the subculture in the mainstream culture background. In culture and identity double adverse circumstances, many members of ethnic minorities national culture identification and national cultural awareness produces serious differentiation and deviation of our national culture, and correspondingly cognitive degree were also lower.This thesis writing is divided into five chapters expounded the national culture awareness degree and cognitive attitudes of yunnan university for nationalities minority students. The first chapter introduces the research question on the basis of reading and finishing previous literature, and shows the theoretical significance and practical significance on the basis of this study further elaborates. The research methods are combination of literature study, questionnaire and interview methods. The second chapter is the establishment of compilation system. The questions of the questionnaire is divided ethnic culture on the six dimensions, namely diet culture, costume culture, architectural culture, language and culture, custom culture, religious culture six dimensions of yunnan minority students to reflect our national cultural cognition state. Then the third chapter of yunnan minority students is our national cultural awareness of the situation analysis, based on analyzing the status quo of the questionnaire of yunnan minority students can be seen our national cultural cognition degree generally very low. The fourth chapter of yunnan minority students is our national cultural cognition the reasons of the low analysis, this paper from the society level, school level, three different levels of individual level level to analyze the causes. Finally the fifth chapter is to the above situation and causes, the countermeasures and Suggestions correspondingly into social stratum, school level, three different levels of individual level, gives some aspects of Suggestions and countermeasures, and tries to yunnan minority cultural heritage and development and find the right way and method.
