Vocational education is not only an important part of a country's education but also "secret weapons" for economic growth, as well as the driving force to push forward the progress of minority areas. Vocational education has close relationship with the development and the stability of minority areas. It is also an indispensable aspect of national works. Nowadays, Baise, which includes old revolutionary base areas, minority areas, border regions, rocks mountainous areas, poverty-stricken areas and reservoir immigration areas, has stepped into an important period of speeding up its development. Under the circumstances of industrial transformation upgrading and development relying on industry, vocational education in Baise city faces new challenges because of some newly maladjustments.By means of the fieldwork, under the guidance of Marxism ethnic theory, absorbing education research fruits on symbiosis theory, aiming at the existing fundamental vocational education problems in Baise city such as rigid system, imbalance structure, similar majors setting, single mode and poor policies and laws in running schools, this paper aims to help establish a vocational education symbiosis system in Baise, providing a new thinking with ethnic characteristics and correspond to the basic rules of vocational education for a sustainable development in Baise city. In order to accelerate the development of vocational education in minority areas, the paper also puts forward some suggestions such as dominating by the government, making system reform in schools, integrating educational resources, realizing majors setting localization base on the principle of moderate advance and considering commonweal, exploring new patterns in running schools from all-directions and improving policies, laws and regulations to support the development of vocational education in minority areas.
