Poverty alleviation by education is an important part of the great practice of poverty alleviation and development in China.Education is of great significance for China's poverty alleviation which is an effective way to block the intergenerational transmission of poverty and maintain the sustainable development of poor people and poor areas.Under the guidance of China's policy the educational conditions and educational environment in the poverty-stricken areas have been greatly improved.However,the reasons of poverty are diversity and complexity due to its own geographical location,climate conditions,human environment and so on,which shows after getting rid of the "absolute poverty".Some policies are found not very suitable,after the implement in some poverty-stricken areas.Therefore,it is of great significance to the development of education in poverty-stricken areas and to poverty alleviation that how to make the policies appropriate.Xikou zhen which is located in the southeast of the county town of Shaanxi Province where Han and Hui live togather has always belonged to the national poverty area since 1986 and has poor,remote,minority three elements.With the efforts of our country and the local government,the education environment and conditions have been greatly improved and gradually moving towards standardization.However,the poverty alleviation by education show new difficulties which is mainly because the software facilities instead of the hardware facilities.After the investigation,those questions are found.First,Teachers become the main factors restricting the development of education in xikou.The shortage of teachers'structure results in the phenomenon of interdisciplinary teaching and multidisciplinary teaching in Teachers' teaching.The shortage of teachers' function causes teachers to undertake additional administrative tasks besides teaching tasks.The functional shortage and structural shortage of teachers both lead to heavy workload and huge job pressure,which will further lead to the decline of the overall teaching quality of schools.Second,There are problems in the training and management of teachers.There are some problems in the applicability of teachers off campus training and other forms,which leads to teachers' inability to apply their knowledge.The training on campus is difficult to guarantee in frequency and duration,and make teachers have fewer learning opportunities.At the same time,the school lacks the reward and punishment mechanism,which leads to the difficulties in mobilizing the enthusiasm of the teachers.Third,The school has difficulties in the management of students.Most schools in xikou are boarding school,and most boarding children are younger and not very mature.Thus security problems,psychological problems and school life have put forward high requirements.The students' adaptation to the collective life and the adaptation to the boarding schools are a great challenge to the school's daily life management.Fourth,The concept of the masses and the social atmosphere are not conducive to the development of local education.Most children in Xikou are left-behind children,therefore,lacking of family education is particularly serious problems.Because of the limitation their knowledge or work reasons,most guardians can not provide effective help or supervision for children's learning,which leads to children's after-school learning is difficult to guarantee.In addition,some parents hold one-sided educational beliefs,failing to realize their educational responsibilities,failing to help children establish correct learning beliefs and motivation.Therefore,all kinds of reasons make the school become the "isolated island" of local education,which has made the education responsibility of the school becoming heavy and heavy.To solve the above problem,the text put forward the following suggestions,and hope to provide help and reference for the west area and other poor areas of education development.First,government need to improve the system of allocation of funds and teachers' supplementary mechanism to alleviate the problem of teachers in poor areas.The multi-standard school stratification system need to be set up to avoid the single standard in the allocation of funds and alleviate the shortage of teachers due to lack of school funds.Improve the teacher distribution mechanism and supplementary mechanism to alleviate the shortage of teachers in poverty-stricken areas due to the shortage of teachers and the conflict of teachers in urban and rural areas.Second,giving school more power in management.Schools have greater flexibility and freedom in management in order to make adjustments.Third,the concept of school management need to be changed.The direction of school development which is suitable for the local conditions need to be explored.Combining the characteristics of local ethnic areas and boarding schools,the school can based on their curriculum and scientific research to explore the direction for the development of the school.Forth,the social education and family education need to be paid attention.We need to liberate schools from the"isolated island" of education by social and community education activities and help parents to realize and undertake their responsibilities in education.
