The Thinking On Impoverished University Students' Psychological Problems And Education

As a result of university's increased enrollment, the proportion of impoverished university students in colleges is increasing gradually, the problem of impoverished university students have got wide attention from the society, the country and the university. But in the past, the help to the impoverished university students has been focused more on the economy, the psychological problems that caused by the society, family and school were ignored. Actually, the research on the impoverished university students'psychological problem not only concerns the growth and development of the students, but also produces an effect on the comprehensive quality of universities'education and the constructing of the harmonious society. Especially, the support for the impoverished university students who come from the disaster areas is a key to the reconstruction of these areas. Therefore, the study of poor university students' psychological problems is important and urgent.Based on the domestic research, this article has adopted SCL-90 to make a sampling survey for one university. according to the distribution of the test results, the level of the poor university students' psychological health can be got and compared in different respects such as the grade, the gender and whether from the disaster areas. Thus, the psychological problems of impoverished university students like the inferiority and sensitive, anxiety and depression, envy and paranoid, loneliness and autism have been summarized. Then, combining the interviews, we draw a conclusion that the impoverished university students' psychological problems mainly come from economic difficulties, environmental changes, education mode, social evaluation, social support and self-awareness. Then, this article has put forward educational principles to solve these psychological problems and three educational countermeasure including mental health education, ideological and political education and campus culture education. Especially, in this article, in view of the students who come from the 5.12 earthquake-stricken area, this article suggests three countermeasures, which are supplying safe living environment, guiding the students to form correct values and professional psychological counseling.
