Research On Ideal And Conviction Education Of University Students Under The Background Of Financial Crisis

Harmonious socialist society with Chinese characteristics is a four–in-one integrated development society of economy, politics, culture and community. Establishing harmonious society is the duty of Chinese people, realizing it is our ideal. The U.S. financial crisis occurred in 2008 has a great impact not only on our economy, but also on the vast majority of our citizens through the channel of economic globalization. So strengthening the ideal and conviction education and enhancing the students'confidence to overcome the financial crisis are the major strategic tasks of current universities'ideological and political education.The value of this thesis is the connection of financial crisis and ideal and conviction. Demonstrating the problems of students'ideal and conviction under the background of financial crisis from the theoretical and practical dimensions, it has the universal representation.The problems of these ideals and convictions show that students feel the strength of capitalism under the financial crisis; it makes them lose their ideals and convictions and feel aimless about their personal futures; what is more, some of them worry about the future of the country's development. Based on the theory of ideals and convictions education and connected financial crisis with the college students'ideals and convictions as the core, this thesis analyzes the main reasons why the financial crisis shaken the ideals and convictions of the college students, that is, the differences of economic power show the predation the capitalistic countries; the students lack the necessary knowledge preparation; the college students'behavior lost its balance, this mainly resulted from the gap between the wealthy and the poor ; and the students'psychological pressure being increased caused by the employment pressure under the background of financial crisis etc.Furthermore, this paper will combine theory and practice to explore the new ways to respond college students faith and convictions education based on financial crisis. i.e. enhancing education in the basic theory of Marxism to make students understand the nature of the financial crisis; strengthening the education of the fruits of reform education so that students will go the socialist way firmly; strengthening the traditional Chinese culture education which carry forward the Chinese traditional virtues; enhancing the students'subjective well-being education to build a harmonious socialist society and strengthening the career guidance education to help students establish professional ideal for the new content of College Ideological Education System, it can not only help students solve the crisis in the context of financial crisis, their ideals and convictions, and many other practical problems, but also can enrich the educational ideals and beliefs of socialism with Chinese characteristics, the content of university ideals and beliefs and improve the relevance and effectiveness of the education.
