Ideals and beliefs are human’s pursuit of good future, are the spirit of a nation which have ambition. It depends on a nation’s mode of production, and greatly affects the people living in the country. Socialism-Communism is the core of the ideals and beliefs of our country. Whatever work we do must revolve around it.Postgraduates are a group which is highly equipped with scholar knowledge and social moral rules. They are intellectual pools for the building of Chinese Socialism and the hope of the revival of China. The Change of international and national environment brings a good many cultures in college world which is often called ivory tower. The collision between postgraduates who have independent value and thoughts and new thoughts coming from outer world is inevitable. If we do not adjust the education of socialism belief and ideals, postgraduates may be influenced by negative effects, and will make our universities suffer a great loss. Study on contemporary Chinese postgraduates’ideals and beliefs, and probe an effective way to solve the problems which caused by real life is quite important for the ideals and beliefs education of college. The abstract of the structure and substance of this thesis is as below. In the first part, we got the summary of the beliefs and ideals. To begin with, we summarize the concepts of the postgraduate ideal and belief education. We discuss the connections of ideal, belief and the mix word ideal and belief education. Through analysis of the ideal of education, we discuss the relationship between the in education, the ideal education and belief in education to illustrate the meaning of the ideal education. Dialectical analysis of the ideal of education and faith education in the concept of the ideal and belief education are mutually distinct and complementary. Then, we illustrate current graduate students the characteristics of the ideal and belief education. They are:the complex structure of the high-level, professional color is very strong, centralized and decentralized complement each other. In the second part, we described the sense of strengthening and improving the education of postgraduates’ideals and beliefs. In the third part, through research on the current status of the ideals and beliefs of postgraduate education, pointing out that in the current world situation, the country changed political climate, problems and difficulties, combined with the actual reason for the plight of the ideal and belief education for analysis. Describing the social environment, the Graduate ideal and belief education, and we discuss contemporary graduate psychological characteristics of three reasons. In the fourth part, we illustrate it combined with the analysis made to the education of postgraduates’ideals and beliefs, from the four aspects of changes in educational philosophy, enrich the content of education, strengthen the education team building, improving education countermeasures to improve the current Graduate ideal and belief education.
