The Comparative Research On The Graduate Funding Between China And American

Graduate education is the important support to the core competence of countries, the importance rely to enhance the national soft power, the important sign to accelerate technological innovation and knowledge innovation. With the expansion of graduate education and promotion of postgraduate training system reform, the graduate education funding policy and method is an important factor as a constraint to the sustainable development of graduate education. By comparing the similarities and differences of graduate funding between China and the U.S., this paper proposed policy recommendations of graduate funding mode reform to promote the positive development of graduate education.In this paper, from the three dimensions of funding sources, funding efforts, funding types, graduate funding compared and studied more systematic. First, it is that respectively summed up the current status of Chinese and the U.S. graduate funding sources, and from four aspects of the government, society, schools and teachers compared in the similarities and differences. Second, the current status was respectively summed up of Chinese and the U.S. graduate funded efforts, the common ground were summarized, and the similarities and differences were subsidized focuses on the funding coverage. Followed, it respectively summed up the current status of Chinese and the U.S. graduate funding types, analyzed the similarities and differences between the two countries from scholarships, grants, student loans approval process a, assessment and management system. Finally, it perfected strategies and recommendations of graduate funding mode, to expand funding sources, increase funding efforts, establish teacher accountability and so on. Ultimately, to speed up the cultivation of the national innovative talents, it'll make some contributions to promoting the development of efficient operation on graduate education.
