T'ao Hsing-chin is an important educator and reformer in modern China. Currently, there are many document on T'ao Hsing-chin, but mostly focus on the interpretation of his education thoughts and education theories, which can't comb his thoughts on education administration, especially the thoughts on school management fully. This situation is unfavorable to grasp T'ao Hsing-chin's thoughts comprehensivly and to embody the realistic significance of T'ao Hsing-chin's thoughts about school management.The paper discusses from three parts by means of combining theory research and cases analyzing. Firstly, through the T'ao Hsing-chin's school-running practice, it will understand the formation and development process of his T'ao Hsing-chin's thoughts about school management. The second part will sum his thoughts about school management deeply. The last part will demonstrate the realistic significance of T'ao Hsing-chin's thoughts on school management linking to contemporary problems in administration of school, we hope it will give some suggestions and reference to optimize the process of school management.
