Huxiang culture,with talented people appearing one after another,occupies a pivotal position in the history of Chinese culture.The royal court of Qing Dynasty held thirty-ninearts imperial examinations and one economic examination from 1822-1904.Hunan standings Scholars 385,accounting for 3.48 percent of the national total.Although a small proportion,there are Wei Yuan,Hu Linyi,Zeng Guofan,Guo Songtao,Xiong Xiling,etc.,are the decisive force in the development of modern China.The number of these trainees in the distribution of time on the general trend of gradual growth in the spatial distribution is concentrated in the Changsha House.In the late Qing Dynasty,China was in a state of turbulence,and it was unable to meet the needs of the times.The Scholars in the internal and external covenant began to reflect on the education and put forward various proposals,Trying to change,known as the"ceremony" ceremony of the imperial examination system also suffered an unprecedented challenge,and finally came to an end in the end of Guangxu Reign.Yuelu Academy is the hometown of Huxiang culture since the Song Dynasty,and was designated as the provincial capital academy in the Yongzheng Reign of Qing Emperor.The masters of Yuelu Academy in the late Qing Dynasty,such as Wang Wenqing,Kuang Minben,Ouyang Houjun,Wang Xianqian,are all scintillating with wit,who cultivate a lot of talented students with its unique education style and teaching characteristics.The survivors of these Yuelu Academy are not only an important part of the Hunan Jinshi group,but also uphold the social responsibility of the country,whether in the Westernization Movement,the reform movement,orthe late Qing Dynasty New Deal,are actively promoting education Change,for the modernization of China's education has made tremendous contributions.
