Yangtze River Delta, The Only Child Of Scale Estimated Its Endowment Support Research

Family planning policy has been brought into effect for more than 30 years as a basic national policy in our country. During the past 30years, it has made tremendous contribution in alleviating the serious conflict among population,resource and environment. meanwhile. This policy has resulted in tens of thousands of only children. nowadays. the first only child-generation are swarming into another phase of life------getting married and supporting their own family.One of the issues this article focus on is how to calculate the quantity of only-child accurately. Based on the review of other demographic scholars's methods in population study. the article created a new mathematic model beween OR(only child ratio) and TFR(Total ferlility rate).to estimate the quantity of only children in Yangtze Delta Area.According to result.the amount of only children in Yangtze Delta Area is about 22,740,000.The second focus of the thesis lies in the aging support in only-child family. after the survey of questionnaire. the author make further research towards housecare,economic support and emotional comfort to aging people and the result shows that only-child generation are facing serious complexion in aging support.so.before their parents swarm into aging period.efforts should be made among government,society and theirselvs to lay a solid basis toward aging support.
