Research On The Social Mobility Of The Rural Women In Qingdao

As an important theoretical and practical issue, social movement has always been favored by the domestic and international researchers, and also been the hot sport of social theory. In the prolonged course of human progress, with the rapid social development, the scale of social movement has continued to expand. Prior to our reform and opening up, the economic development is actually unstable under the constantly changeable social policies, which had directly affected the social movement.Since the opening reform, Qingdao has taken many great changes, including fast growth of the economy, optimization of the industrial structure, as well as the escalaration made on the urbanization and social mobility. Among them, rural women have made great contributions, too. They have tried many ways to integrate into the cities, thus to live a better life. Unfortunitly, few of them has achived this goal, due to their educational level and living environment.This essay makes a primary explore on the social mobility of the rural women in Qingdao through the literature research and survey, interview and discuss, combined with relative articles written by scholars home and abroad, based on the field survey and the theory of the social mobility. Meanwhile, it also gives analyse on the factors of the issue, and makes some recommondations in the end. This essay is comprised by six parts:Part 1. Firstly, it explaines the research meaning of the issue. Secondly, discusses about the research background and concludes the situations, theroy and contectual concepts. Finally, systematically arrange the frame of the whole essay. Part 2. Mainly research on the background of the social mobility in Qingdao, which shows obvious transformation charactors. This essay makes a discription on the following aspects: fast transformation of the social, the development level of the urbanizaion, the flourishing economy, the growth on the education. Part 3. This part makes analyses on the social mobility situation of the rural women in Qingdao on the bases of the survey and the way of the mobility. The survey is mainly on the background, the characters of these women, their integration degree, the direction of flow. Part 4. This part includes relative analyse on the social mobility of these women, from both macro and micro point of biew. The macro-view includes urbanization policies, household registration system, labor protection system, land contract system, compulsory education system, social security system and the social gender norms. The micro-view consists of individual sense of social mobility, their marriage and social relations.Part 5. This part set forth the existance of their social mobility through the systematic point, inmmediate interest and related topics. Part 6. Bases on the above research, this essay draws a macro-view guidance and suggestions.
