We should be based on the present, and play the role of the National Games for the prosperity and development of sports undertakings in China.As National Games is the highest form of national unity training event, public pay much attention on the fairness of it. In 2001 National Games abolished the rule of Shanghai, Guangdong and Beijing hosted the provisions of rotation, after that each period bid by the provinces autonomously. However, the host province's gold medals are always the first after autonomous bid for the hosting of the Games, which this phenomenon is given rise to widespread controversy. This article summarizes the gold medals and the changes of medals in the host province from the eighth National Games to the eleventh, analysis the causes and effects of the main factors of the host effect.
