Research On Distribution Of Bid And Host Cities Of Modern Olympic Games

This article takes the bid cities,candidate cities and host cities as research objects,and uses the mathematical analysis and logical analysis to organize the locations of modern Olympic bid cities,candidate cities and host cities.Analyze the characteristics of the modern Olympic bid cities,candidate cities and the distribution of host cities.The trend of the future development of the host city in the modern Olympic Games.This will broaden the perspective of the theoretical study of the modern Olympic Movement and provide a theoretical reference for other cities to bid for the modern Olympic Games.Main research conclusions:(1)The choice of hosting cities is limited by the selection method.The changes in the selection and holding of city rules essentially impose higher requirements on the bid for cities,making it impossible for some cities to enter the final selection,which directly limits the basic conditions for the distribution of cities in the modern Olympic Games.The methods for selecting cities for hosting the Olympic Charter are constantly changing.From the selection of a direct bid for the city,it is gradually becoming more procedural.The term “candidate city”was introduced in the “Olympic Charter” since 1975.The term “candidate city” was put forward as a 17-point request.Candidate cities were gradually incorporated into the process of selection of the host city.At the 110 th plenary session of the IOC in 1999,the procedures for selecting cities to host were clearly divided into bids and candidates.The city submits a bid to the IOC,and the evaluation committee submits a vote to the plenary and decides to host the city.At the 127 th meeting of the IOC,the "Olympic 2020 Agenda" changed its wording into an invitation,inviting bids and candidate cities to participate in the evaluation of the right to host the modern Olympic Games.(2)The bid for the city distribution has four major features: 1)The Olympic bid cities are spread over five continents,of which the summer Olympics bid cities are spread over five continents;the candidates for the Winter Olympic Games are spread over three continents;2)The bid cities are for the Winter Olympics,they can bid for and host the Winter Olympics;4)The uncertainty factors in selecting the host cities will be strengthened.Three suggestions are proposed for cities to bid for the modern Olympic Games:(1)The bid to host the city requires an in-depth understanding of the Olympic Charter promulgated by the IOC and the changes in the selection and hosting of city rules in the documents,and the bid to host the modern Olympic Games.In particular,the IOC in the recent “Olympics 2020Agenda” has changed its previous practice by inviting qualified bid cities and candidate cities to participate in the evaluation of selected cities.The bid cities and candidate cities that meet the evaluation criteria will be selected as candidates for the IOC by submitting bids to the IOC for selection.Many neighboring countries or different cities can take the form of a joint bid for the Olympic Games to reduce the economic pressure on the city,especially the cities near Africa and Asia.The cities that have bid to host the Summer Olympic Games and have not yet obtained the right to host the Olympic Games can bid in a joint form to provide multinational advantages.Conditions,to increase the bargaining power for the Olympic Games.(2)Some cities can bid for both the Summer Olympics and the Winter Olympics.The bid to host the city to meet the IOC's bid conditions,in
