Movies & TV Culture And The Construction Of Contemporary College Students' Values

In the economic globalization today, as a kind of Modern audio-visual culture, contemporary film and television culture has become an integral part of college student life. It demonstrates that values, ideas, and the aesthetic taste of life, which bring the magic influence to college students'values. The contemporary college students growing up in the company of TV and film culture, deeply involved in the growth process. Therefore, these are called "screen education " college students, many of their values come directly from the monasteries of the film in long-term culture. A healthy film culture has many positive effects on them, including their values, behavior, knowledge structure, character building, aesthetic taste and so on. However, with the rapid development of film and television culture, and its increasingly wide range of communication, some negative impacts are also brought to the contemporary college students, such as television violence, pornography, superficial variety show, fictional drama, urban drama, hegemony of the proliferation of the advertising an so on. Film culture deviated from its value and many lost college students, to a certain extent, affect the school and the family positive education for our contemporary college students. Therefore, the community should pay more attention on values of College Students. In the thesis, the instruction of film culture and the contemporary college students'value is studied from four parts:1.Introdution of topics including the origins, significance, research summary, research objectives and content, research ideas and innovation.2. Content and characteristics of the film culture.3. Respectively discussing the film and television culture influence for the temporary college student from the moral values, political values, life values and aesthetic values, which contains the positive and negative impaction.4. Mainly for positive and negative impacts which the film and television culture bring to the temporary college students, and respectively discussing from the media, schools, families and individuals about building the their correct values.
