| Comics are an art form welcomed among teenagers today. They are also important history teaching materials and effective teaching means of the history teaching in junior high schools. Comics depict historical phenomena or events in a concise, lively, humorous, exaggerated way. For teachers, they are important teaching resources with the functions of endowing historical phenomena or events with a deep philosophical meaning and revealing the essential characteristics of them. This paper focuses on the effects of comics on the history teaching in junior high schools as well as the teaching principles, strategies and a few issues involved in the implementation of comics in history teaching in order to achieve the maximum teaching effect.This paper includes three parts. The first part discusses the significance of comics in history teaching, including its basic content and features as well as its position in history teaching. Comics are vivid, explicit and humorous, reflecting the profound implication humorously. The use of comics in history teaching in junior high schools can reconstruct historical scenes, enhance the students'experience of history, inspire their active learning, promote their memory ability, stimulate their desire to explore history, develop their thinking skills in history and heighten their aesthetics. The second part studies the basic strategy, guiding ideology, principles and basic ideas of using comics in history teaching. Comics are valuable and effective teaching materials in history teaching. If we select them carefully and use them properly, we can achieve maximum results with little effort. The third part is about the reflection on the use of comics in history teaching in junior high schools. It also analyzes the errors that may occur in history teaching with the use of comics.In this paper, a large number of examples are introduced to demonstrate the basic points of view of the author. Meanwhile, this paper discusses the basic strategies and reflection of using comics in history teaching. It has great practical significance for history teaching in junior high schools. |
