Early Education And Conservation Of The Indigenous People Of Canada

Since the 1960's, indigenous people's living conditions began to attract the whole world's attention. The United Nations named 1993 as'International Indigenous Year'. In these years, many changes occurred in the Canadian Aboriginal early childhood education filed. Canadian Government introduced a lot of public policies and programs to fund a number of children and teaching projects, greatly improved the living condition of Aboriginal children.The thesis applies literature review and comparative research. The study attempts to show the rise and development of Canadian Aboriginal early childhood education and care, with the purpose of researching the successful experience and short comings, which can bring some inspiration to the development of Chinese early education and care.This paper is divided into five parts, the first part is an introduction, describes the reason for choosing this topic, as well as domestic and international research status of this topic and research methods. The second part is the background of Canadian Aboriginal early childhood education and care. Respectively analysis from three dimensions:the international context, the domestic context and historical background to see the production of early education and care.The third part is the rise and development of indigenous people early education, focusing on its content, teacher qualifications and teacher training, funding and management. The fourth part is the evaluation of the Canadian Aboriginal early childhood education and care, as well as the future trends. The fifth part is the conclusion, offers some suggestions on how to learn from the Canadian Aboriginal early education.
