Many problems and confusion have occurred in the process of teaching TASK in Advance with English. TASK part doesn't function well as is expected. Through questionnaires, discussions, interviews, classroom observation and other methods, I have found out what have caused the problems and confusion. As for the teachers, it mainly includes:teachers lack substantive knowledge when they teach TASK part; teachers still use the traditional teaching methods to deal with the teaching materials; teaching methods as well as the capacity of the majority of the teachers need to be improved. As for students, they don't have clear learning aims when learning the TASK; students' learning ability don't achieve the needed level; students' learning methods are too simple. This paper analyzes these problems of both teachers and students. Then I put forward some strategies, such as:increasing teachers'awareness of using substantive knowledge of how to teacher TASK, changing teachers'views on using teaching materials, improving teacher's teaching ability to control TASK activities; using proper teaching methods to get students to have proper learning methods. Through these strategies, the teachers can effectively solve the problems and confusion while they teach TASK. At last I give some advice to the teachers who teach fresh students and put forward some suggestions on how to change teaching materials better.
