The Political Orientation Of Chinese Traditional Culture On The Influnence Of Our Country's University System

The university system in China has been nearly 160 years since the late qing dynasty. In these years of history, people always try to reform the university system, from learning Germany ,Japan ,the Soviet Union to America. However, as everyone knows, a widely accepted university system which can ensure higher education develop fast has not been formed in out country. The current university system has lots of disadvantages. One of the key is, in the process of creating modern university system, compatriots do not really consider the Chinese inherent cultural traditions exist. Based on this kind of situation, the study of the Chinese traditional culture on the influnence of our university system will be significant.The purpose of this research is to investigate the political orientation of Chinese traditional culture on the influnence of our university system. In order to understand the nature of problems better, we make use of the individual factors which reveal the political orientation of Chinese traditional culture as analysis tool. In addition, the research of university system mainly revolves around the relationship between universities and government, in consideration of richness and complexity of the university system.This research divides the university system into two big stages bounded by 1949: the first stage, before 1949, mainly refers to the Republic of China; the second stage, after 1949, mainly refers to the People's Republic of China.The author, in the paper text, talks about the political orientation of Chinese traditional culture on the influnence of relationship between universities and government in the period of the republic of China at first. In this part, the author elaborates the viewpoint from two angles, government and universities, with the Cultural Tradition of politics and religion. Secondly, is the relationship between universities and government of the current university system with the"big unification"cultural values.The influence of the political orientation of Chinese traditional culture on our country's university system is objective existence. We should attach great importance to this fact, whether establishing the"modern university system"earlier or improving the"modern university system with Chinese characteristics"now in the《Program》. Only in this way, a university system according with the situation of our country , and which is helpful for higher education can be really founded.
