For the institute basic construction management, it is important work to control the costof its construction project. Such work includes how to determine and control the project cost,effectively save the construction funds and improve investment beneficial result; how toreasonably and efficiently use the construction funds, and avoid the loss and waste. To controlthe project cost and to reduce the operation cost became the current important tasks forcolleges and universities. So, it is very important to analyze and study the determination andcontrol of the cost of the institute construction project. The main contents of this thesis are asfollows.First, elaborate the current domestic and foreign project cost management theory&itsapplications, the development situation and the comparison study, by analyzing the currentstudy on the engineering cost management of the domestic and foreign.Second, deeply analyze the current construction cost management, mainly including thebasic concept, the composition and the meaning of project cost and institute constructionproject cost. At the end of the thesis, deeply discuss the problems in the project costmanagement and propose the corresponding improvement measures.Third, discuss the quantity pricing model and reformation of the institute constructionproject cost, compare several pricing models. And according to the characteristics of theinstitute construction project cost management, this thesis stresses on analyzing the problemsin the pricing model and proposes the improvement measures.Fourth, analyze the case of No.9students flat in Weifang Institute and set up the costcontrolling methods and systems in different stages on the base of the project planning,designing, bidding, implementation and etc.
