Turn Knowledge Into Wisdom-on Developing Of Smart Teacher

The world has become the one leading by creative and intelligent talents. The function of knowledge is expanded to a fundamental platform from"knowledge is power"which is introduced by Bacon. This undoubtedly brings new challenges to traditional education which is aim at teaching knowledge and to teachers as the initiator of knowledge. The proposal of smart teacher provides a direction to the role of future teachers. It is the demand of times, the teachers'specialization and also the need of teacher achieving the individual life value.This research compared previous different roles and types of teacher with smart teachers and found that smart teacher is a comprehensive quality expectation of teachers; it put forward a more comprehensive requirement and high development state to teacher. Smart teachers have complete knowledge structure. They have a rational knowledge about education theory and problems; they are knowledgeable and can satisfy the different students'thirst for knowledge. Smart teacher have education wisdom including rational wisdom, emotional intelligence, practical wisdom. They have strong emotions for education, love education and students; they can deal with teaching content and the problems in teaching tactfully, skillfully and creatively; they can enlighten the students'wisdom and raise them good virtue. In addition, smart teacher should have the personality wisdom with a strong personality self consciousness and achievement motivation, pursuing their professional development and life's happiness. Teachers should convert their traditional roles as an initiator of knowledge, turn knowledge to wisdom and grow up to a smart teacher. Based on analyzing the relationship between knowledge and wisdom, this paper offers five ways for teacher turn their personal knowledge into wisdom: improving knowledge structure——the base of it; improve thinking ways——the core of it; strengthening teaching reflection——the key of it; conduct narrative research——the element of it; constructing teacher learning community——the favorable environment of it.
