| With the development of information technology,China has entered the digital society,and the endless media forms are profoundly changing people’s production and life style.However,the elderly gradually become slow walkers in the fast era,and the ever-changing technological products make them encounter many difficulties in the application of intelligent technology.This paper focuses on the difficulties existing in the use of smart technology by the elderly and how to improve their ability to use smart phones.In this paper,interviews and observations are used to collect data on the use of smart phones by the elderly.The survey finds that there are three problems in the use of smart phones by the elderly: digital skills need to be improved,knowledge of smart phones need to be expanded,and lack of trust in Internet security.It is found that the main factors affecting the use of intelligent technology by the elderly include physiological,psychological,economic status of the elderly group,intergenerational communication and community education for the elderly.Based on the above investigation and research,under the guidance of social learning theory and social support theory,the researcher carried out seven group activities with 8elderly people in Y community,aiming to achieve the group goal of improving the elderly’s ability to use smart phones and enhancing their social support network.Finally,through the process evaluation and result evaluation of group activities,it can be concluded that group work has a significant effect on improving the digital skills of the elderly and enhancing the support of the elderly peers.Specifically,the scores of the smart phone use and interpersonal skills of the eight group members have been improved.In general,group work is effective in improving the ability of the elderly to use smart phones.To some extent,it can provide reference experience for active aging and promoting the elderly to ride on smart technology. |
