As is known to all, teachers are playing important role in creating and passing on human civilization. The quality of teachers is considered as one of the key factors which influence educational reform. Teachers' knowledge, as anmajor part of teachers' quality, has received considerableattention from educators both at home and abroad. However ,there still remains some problems in current teachers' knowledge cultivation. With commenting on the related researches and experiences, this paper tries to explore the structure and cultivation of teachers' knowledge and put forward some rational proposals as well. Apart from the introduction and conclusion, the paper is divided into five parts.Part one The necessity of the study and the commenting on the current situation of teachers' knowledge. With an analysis of the necessity of the study and a comment on the current situation of teachers' knowledge, the author discusses some problems existing in pre-service teacher training and in-service teacher training.Part two The definition of teachers' knowledge .In this part , the author first discusses the meaning of knowledge from aspects of philosophy, psychology and pedagogy, then expresses her own view on teachers' knowledge by analyzing and comparing some results of it.Part three The structure and accumulation of teachers' knowledge .What kind of knowledge should the teacher have? How to cultivate teachers' knowledge? These are the questions the author tries to explore in this part. After analyzing the structure and characteristics of teachers' knowledge, theauthor examines the accumulation of it.Part four The transformation of teachers' knowledge.In this part, the author discusses the transformation of teachers' knowledge from the point of view of behaviorism and humanism. With the analysis and the comparison between two different psychological viewpoints, the author illustrates the significance of transforming knowledge into wisdom, which is considered as the ideal pursuit of teachers' knowledge education.Part five The strategies of teachers' knowledge cultivation.In the light of the manifestation of the problems of teachers' knowledge education discussed in the previous part, this part aims at exploring the strategies of teachers' knowledge cultivation and putting forward some constructive theoretical and practical enlightenments for the teachers' education.
