Nowadays, China's higher education are becoming more and more common for the public, a new school format forms, which is state owned, private operated and independent college (it was also known as state-owned, private operated secondary school, in the name for the less uniform). An independent institute, financed by social funds, offers student educational certificate, is established by or under the help of Undergraduate Institution. In recent years, the various types of independent colleges are of different quality. The public began to doubt the quality of independent institute. Independent Colleges are also facing credibility crisis and development obstacles. The confusion and fear that those Independent college students have about their competitiveness and future lead to the increase of self-doubt. Therefore, a lot of mental, physical and other health problems emerge, and there is "marginalized students" phenomenon. This study, based on sociology, sociology of education, psychological education, sports science and other kinds of multi-angle point of views, aims to propose the solutions of sports intervention to "marginalized students" related issues. After lot of theoretical research on the study from different angles and dimensions of marginalization, social exclusion, education and marginalization, mental health and physical therapy, an investigation was carried out with the following methods: literature review, interviewing, questionnaires, psychological scale, and logic analysis. This investigation studies the root cause of "marginalized students" in the five independent colleges in Hunan Province and analyzes the education format and current condition of those five independent collages. The objectives, principles, methods of the physical therapy were set up; the mainly based on physical therapy mode for mental health was establish; detailed theories and proper methodology on physical therapy for "marginalized students" are discussed and presented.The discussion of"marginalized student"theory was made from different angles. It proved that the intervention research of independent institute student psychologically health is important and necessary. The studies suggest that "marginalized students" are normally suffered from social ostracism. There are a series of factors that affect mental health. In nature, physical exercise comprised psychology, biology, sociology and Sports Science, which is irreplaceable and improves students'mental condition. In addition, because it is economic, low-risky and high effectiveness, it is very popular among students. 9 of the12 dimensions adopted affect different projects at different levels. The type, format and workload of exercises significantly effect and improve the mental health of the participants. It is recommended that tutors, managers in this industry to adopt this theory for practice, evaluate their own work performance and continue improving so as to reduce sudden and unexpected mental health problems.
