In the process of totally advancing basic education curriculum reform and bilingual education in Xinjiang, the effective classroom teaching aims at bettering the fundamental education. In the minority regions, the key element is to enhance the expertise of the teachers. Pedagogical Content Knowledge, as the core of teachers'knowledge, is the precondition of effective teaching and is significant for improving teachers'professionalism. The conclusion of this research is as follows.In the first part, based on the related overview research on teachers'pedagogical content knowledge, taking chemistry bilingual teachers in Hotan and Kashia of the south Xinjiang as the subjects, this research analyzes and compares the attitude identity of bilingual teaching and the resource of pedagogical knowledge between the expert and novice teachers by questionnaires and interviews. Research shows that the major methods of enhancing the pedagogical content knowledge of novice teachers are: to be skillful in using the network, to participate actively in lectures and to place great emphasis on communication with colleagues. Meanwhile, expert teachers focus on self-reflections, accumulation of knowledge and reading various professional books, learning reasonable course structures from universities and be adapt in using mother- language-aided instructionsThe second part is about the comparison of the pedagogical schemes and characteristics of the novice and expert chemistry teachers in Xinjiang .It is based on classroom teaching behavior observations and case-studies. As a result, the pedagogical schemes and characteristics of the former are the basic points of teaching content are involved but it lacks of flexible teaching methods, knowledge block, logical structures, and infiltration on chemical concepts and methods. On the contrast, what of the latter are the combination of professional knowledge and experience. Professional knowledge involves abundant basic points, knowledge block, stable and flexible production as well as logical structures, more importantly, it is the application of philosophical thoughts, academic concepts and scientific research process.
