Based on the material from fieldwork in Xinjiang Changji, the author try to describe pilgrimage to Mecca of hui nationality women with their experience, using theories of ethnology and anthropology to analyze the female pilgrimage groups of religious life, secular life and Social intercourse activities, then initially discussed the society culture significance of female pilgrims.Anthropology focused on the research of explaining cultural phenomenon and exploring cultural significance Pilgrimage is not only the Islamic lessons, but also a kind of religious cultural phenomenon. Under the guidance of ethnic and religious policies in China, the number of pilgrims to Mecca from Xinjiang is rising year by year, including female pilgrims nearly 30 years, which is related to the minority women's social status, economic status, and the change of religious feelings.The article focus on the description and discuss about hui nationality female pilgrimage process in Changji areas, using anthropology ritual theory to analyze hui nationality female pilgrimage activities. Looking upon the female pilgrimage activities as the practice of female consciousness. It is illustrated that the changes happened in hui's social cultural. In the view of social culture features, the article analyzed the influences of hui female social and community, caused by hui women pilgrimage activities, which is in order to try to put forward some ideas about this groups on Anthropology study.This article consists the following several parts: The first part is the content of literature review. The author retrieval and analyzes the related literature. The first chapter is introduction, introduces its topic source, the aim and meaning, research methods, discipline theory perspective and related definitions interpretation.The second chapter presents the author's fieldwork work situation.The third chapter reviews the history of hui nationality pilgrimages in Xinjiang Changji and the female pilgrims activities.The fourth, fifth, and sixth chapters are the author's ethnography description, including the three stages of female pilgrimage activities. And the theoretical analysis about the ritual, which are based on the author's field work.Chapter 7 is based on the above, analyses hui female pilgrimages activities and female hajis from the anthropological point of view.The last part is summarize, the author put forward some research views.
