Research On Traditional “Nuanwu” Ritual Of Tiandeng Zhuang Nationality In Spatial Perspective

Based on the literature and the existing research results,this thesis conducts an anthropological field investigation on the construction process and related rituals of the Tiandeng Zhuang nationality,and theoretically analyzes the concept of human settlement space in the Tiandeng Zhuang ethnic group.Based on the case analysis,this paper analyzes the core concepts of "habits" and "field" in Bourdieu's theory of space society from the perspective of space,and analyzes the practice activities of Zhongtun Zhuang's house building,trying to propose the concept of Zhuang people's living space.The Zhuang people in Tiandeng regard building houses as a major event in life.There are different rituals throughout the building process.The ceremony of new house entrance and the daily use,the worship of the earth,the sacrifice of the ancestors,the ghosts and gods,the blessing of the disasters and other rituals have been become an integral part of life.A series of rituals during the construction and house-use in Tiandeng Zhuang nationality is called “ nuanwu ” ritual,which is a way for Zhuang nationality to use local knowledge to construct ideal homes.This way of "nuanwu" is to deal with the relationship between human,nature and super-nature under the guidance of the "harmony between man and nature" and the ethics of "human harmony".This paper analyzes the house building process,such as selecting the homestead,selecting the good day to do something,foundation construction,capping,entering the house and the other related rituals in the construction of the house in Tiandeng Zhuang nationality.The choice of homestead and the ceremonial pursuit are the harmony between space,the house,the universe,nature and adjacent buildings.The pursuit of ancestry,spirit,and blessing rituals in daily life,are the harmony between man and land,ancestors,and kitchen gods.In addition,the house building process and relatives rituals in the daily use process,neighborhood helpers,gift exchanges and other activities reflect the ethical and moral concept is the value basis of the sound development of rural social order.The main point of this paper is: the concept of the Zhuang people's living space is based on the "harmony between man and nature" and the local ethics tobuild a house with "rituals","people and gods living together" and also is a house with warm and clean,achieving harmony between man and nature,man and society,man and supernatural.The change of house structure causes change of the relationship between villager and change of "nuanwu" ritual,but the basic value that the Zhongtun people advocate is not changed,those are the harmony ideology of people and the world,and the ethics value of interpersonal relationship based on "family" and the value of Ancestor worship.There is positive and reasonable side in the space value of Zhuang Nationality,so at the time of Rural Revitalization Strategy,some suggestions are proposed to reconstruct culture confidence of Zhuang Nationality as below: the first is to provide policy and law support to develop rural culture;the second is to develop cultural industries;the third is to cultivate the participation and creativity of the Zhuang Nationality.
