A Case Study: The Curriculums Design Of Parents Schooling In Primary School

Parents are the first teachers and significant others in child's growing life.Family education or home education is not only the upset things for parents, but also social problem for whole society and country. Parents'schooling emerges as the times require. Through effective parents'schooling, on the one hand, parents could establish the right educational scientific and civilized methods and skills, on the other hand, we may promote the cooperation processes between community and parents.Therefore, reasonable and feasible design curriculums for parents schooling is the basic and foundation of social values.The thesis take the curriculums designs for parents schooling in primary school as study object, using quantitative and qualitative research methods. For one thing, we know that there are many problems exist in the parents schooling curriculum as curriculum target is relatively simple, caused by teachers and other reason effect course implement process, the evaluations perform practically no function. For another thing, we know some differences among parents toward parents schooling curriculums by investigations.By using the relevant knowledg of adult education and psychology, through analyzing the features in other adult educations as social, optional nature, and the development of parents psychological,we think parents'schooling is social, while there is shortage in contents ,and we insist that the parents'schooling curriculums should be prepared periodically and systematic characteristics.Through combing the general theory of curriculums designs,this thesis suggests the parents'schooling design theory basis should include"individuality"and"sociality"this two aspects. Parents'schooling curriculums design should follow the value tendency of learner's centre and issues center, adopting"synthetic analysis".Finally, the thesis bring forward suggestions from the following four aspects for primary parents'schooling design as determining the curriculum targets, choice and organizations of the programs, analysis influencing factors during implementation, and the way of evaluations.
