Humans forged indissoluble bond with nature since the appearance of humans. Human useof natural resources to secure their own survival and development, at the same time, they havealso been destroying the primordial state of nature. In modern times, with the development andprogress of science and technology, the original healthy ecosystem is suffered damage more andmore, because of the predatory exploitation of natural resource by humans, the ecological crisis isgetting ever more acute. The phenomenon of Climate warming,frequent geological disasters,land desertification,floods and drought and water pollution and so on has become the norm oftoday. It is clear that we not only relies on the economic or legal means to protect the ecologicalenvironment, but also need to use morality to regulate the relationship between man and nature.That what we advocated today-the friend environment concept, which requires harmony betweenman and nature, insist on sustainable development and to construct ecological civilization.The construction of "ecological civilization" was established as one of the objectives ofbuilding a moderately prosperous society by the17congress of CPC. Colleges and universitiesare as the important position of implementing the scientific development view and building asocialist harmonious society, they should uphold the concept of eco-friendly, and became thepractice model of ecological civilization concept, which full played to the leading role to achievenational development strategies, and provided intellectual support and thinking protection.Conform to world trends in development of green, universities in our country have proposed tocreate green universities and develop green education, which not is only adapted to thedevelopment of higher education trends, but also adapt to the sustainable development needs of21st century. The crisis of energy and environmental issues become more serious every day, it isnot enough to set up some courses on environmental protection and sustainable development inuniversities of China, there is an urgent need for green education system in universities activelyand consciously, the universities should become into green universities where is the base forgreen culture,green talent and green science and technology."Green University" is endowed withrich connotation, its appearance reflects the transformation of the concept of traditional collegesin china, the concept of sustainable development can be blended into university professionaltalent training,discipline construction,scientific research and all aspects of campus construction,the green environment-friendly idea is filtering into people's minds.Since1998, Tsinghua University proposed the concept of "Green University", theconstruction of "Green University" in china has roughly formed a scale, during the building ofgreen universities, the environmental ethics education has been developed and widespread, whichprovides a theoretical basis and practical guidance for he sustainable development of universities. First, environmental ethics education is of great significance for foster green awareness and thepromotion of sustainable development of society; Second, the study of environmental ethics isgood for the construction of green campus, which can provide students with a clean and beautifullearning environment, and promote to develop a good habit to protect the environment; Third,learn the environmental ethics and active in green technology innovation is useful to promote thedevelopment of environmental protection; Fourth, the environmental ethics education is good forwide spreading of green awareness, students can participate in social practice,extensive researchand international cooperation of related fields, which help the green level of civilization ofsociety as a whole. However, because they are in the early stages of development, there are stillmany problems which are needed to be solved. This thesis will analysis the environment ethicsgiven to green university from the point of environmental ethics, and analysis the currentsituation of environmental ethics, it will propose referential suggestions and environmental ethicmeasures on the basis of environmental ethics requires to green university.
