Studies On The Development Of Agricultural Higher Vocational Colleges From The Perspective Of New Village Construction

This dissertation focuses on the specific strategies of the acquisition of self development of the involvement the agricultural higher vocational colleges in the New Village Construction. Based on the status quo of Yancheng Biology Engineering Higher Vocational Technology School in which the author works, it intends to carry out relevant positive studies to understand the status quo and the future development direction of the agricultural higher vocational colleges and explore the specific strategies of the involvement of the agricultural higher vocational colleges in the New Village Construction, providing valuable strategies and proposals for the self reform of the agricultural higher vocational colleges and better service to New Village Construction of Yancheng city.The concrete features of the development of the agricultural higher vocational colleges of Yancheng City can be described as follows:the enrollment scale of the. agricultural higher vocational colleges has experienced the leapfrog development; the global level of the teaching staff of the colleges has been apparently improved; the construction of their specialty disciplines has been further strengthened; besides, they are making increasingly outstanding contributions to the economic construction and social progress.However, in view of the more request brought forward by the construction of the New Village Construction for talents, technology, culture, etc in the agricultural higher vocational colleges, such colleges in Yancheng city are faced with the lack of "characteristics" "responsibility" and " quality" in the process of their development.Therefore, the agricultural higher vocational colleges of Yancheng city should actively explore effective ways of serving the New Village Construction of the local areas and focus should be laid on the development of the following five aspects:firstly, the educational concept adaptive to the New Village Construction should be built up; secondly, the high-quality teaching and management staff should be fostered; thirdly, the reform in teaching mode should be promoted to cultivate new agricultural talents of the KAP Trinity; fourthly, the training contents and modes should be reformed, changing from the sole technical training to the training of comprehensive qualities; fifthly, the scientific research work should be strengthened and the operational mechanism of developing agriculture by relying on science, technology and education should be improved to push ahead with the organic integration of production, education and research.; lastly, the opening of agricultural higher vocational colleges to the outside world should be promoted.
