The core concept of"The New Curriculum Standards"is student-oriented and the transform of the way students learn, stressing that"the function of the corriculum should change from imparting knowledge to guiding students to learn how to learn, learn to survive and learn to be.""Learning-plan Method of Teaching"is an ideal vehicle for changing the way students learn. It changed the tranditional way of teaching in which teaching and teaching plan are the centres."Learning-plan Method of Teaching"can cultivate the ability of self-learning, cooperation and exploration, and it can also greatly improve the effectiveness of the classes. As the name suggests, learning plan is a plan of learning, which is designed depending on the students'knowledge, experience, cognitive ability as well as teaching materials and other factors. A complete learning plan should include the following components: learning objectives, preview, key points, learning methods, the link of the old knowledge , questions-designing, target detection, after-class reflection and so on.Learning-plan Method of Teaching is the specific application of constructive theory into teaching. It is learner-centered, focusing on the dominant position of the learner and the students'self-learning ability. When the implementation of teaching is based on the students'"previous study", the students'mental activity is active. During this process, students are the subjects of learning and also the constructors of knowledge.When designing the learning plan, the teacher can make appropriate adjustments depending on the teaching materials, teaching equipment, students'particular situations.The preparation of learning paln should adhere to the following principles: the principle of subjectivity, the principle of exploration, the principle of being heuristic, the principle of hierarchy, the principle of innovation, the principle of flexibility,and so on..However, my research about the implementation of Learning-plan Method of Teaching in the Affiliated Senior School of He'nan Normal University shows that not everything is going well. During this research, questionnaires, interviews, data analysis and other methods are used. This research aims at the implementation of Learning-plan Method of Teaching in the senior school's biology teaching. The survey data show that although most teachers and students like this method of teaching and advocate this teaching method, there are still some teachers and students holding different views. The data also shows that there are some problems coming up during the process of implementation and that the Learning-plan Method of Teaching can't achieve the expected aims. The implementation of Learning-plan Method of Teaching is affected by many aspects, such as, teachers'teaching theory and teaching abilities, curriculum issues, the school leaders'care, the school's resource-sharing ability, the team-building of teachers, the impact of NMT(National Matriculation Test), and individual differences of the students and so on. This research mainly trys to make some analysis of the problems and the phenomena occurring during the process of implementation and explore the factors which may affect the teaching effectiveness so as to give some suggestions for the improvement of Learning-plan Method of Teaching.
