Research On The Present Situation Of Community Sports In Zhenjiang City And The Countermeasure

According to the basic objectives and main tasks of the party's recent Sixth Plenary Session on"building a socialist harmonious society and a number of major issues", this study aims to develop community sports, promote equality and living harmony of the residents, create a friendly and harmonious community environment and improve the degree of civilization, with a focus on tapping the community sports activities and promote community sports'methods and innovation of forms. By the use of sports science, sociology, policy studies, management science, environmental studies, cultural studies, psychology and other disciplines, the use of literature, statistics, logical analysis and other methods, this paper makes a deep investigation and research on the issues about community sports and community harmony.The study mainly focuses on the functions, values and meaning of the urban community sports in the building of a harmonious society; explores on the theoretical basis and social infrastructure of community sports and the basic meaning of building a harmonious community to of the cornerstones of building a harmonious society as community sports activities, forms and organization; makes a comprehensive elaboration on community sports features, advantages and the basic way to build a civilized and harmonious communities; offers the analysis and summary of the typical cases of community sports; and finally finds out the theoretical basis and the potential function of community sports in building and promoting harmonious society.Through the research on community sports in Zhenjiang city , this paper proposes two main viewpoints: on one hand, community sports represents the concept of"glue"role in unity, equal and harmonious participation; a"vacuum"role in resolving community conflicts, maintaining community policing, transforming the social discontent of the residents; a"lubricant"role in tightening ties between the party and the mass and creating a good social climate; and reflects the"democratic model"effect in the atmosphere of equal participation and service and cheerful collaboration. On the other hand, based on the research, advantages and shortcomings in the area can be discovered, so as to provide first hand information on better development. Study on the current situation of community sports in Zhenjiang City and the development characteristic and regulation of it offers the region community sports policy and management departments basis for decision-making.
