The rate of divorce is gradually increasing in recent years by the development of society. The single parent family appears as a special family structure which existing in our Chinese society. Due to the special incomplete family structure with family functions defects, a great negative effect on children has been appeared in their life straightly. The main purpose of this paper, on the basis of the relative materials at home and abroad, is to study whether there exists the characteristic of subjective wellbeing and difference between high school students from single-parent family and whole parent.This paper consider that the subjective happiness also stems from the family upbringing.This paper also discuss the difference of family upbringing between single-parent and whole family as well as the related relationship between the manner of upbringing and the subjective happiness, on whose basis the shorting of this paper and relevant suggestions presented.The study is based on self-programming scale of teenagers subjective happiness, which accords with the basic requirements of psychometry through standardization. Parenting scale is adopted as the one which is revised by the domestic scholar Yue Dongmei. The final results are presented in the wake of evaluation analysis towards 102 junior high school students including 51 students from single-parent and whole parent respectively.1 The level of happiness , who ever comes from single-parent family or whole parent, is totally above the moderate degree. They are relatively satisfied with every specific aspects of life, which states a high-level degree of happiness of students. 2 For the students who come from the single-parent or whole family, there exists no significant difference in the field of the level of the general happiness and the degree in specific field of life.3 There is no big difference in the aspect of the general well-being in gender level. In specific aspects of life satisfaction, girls and boys who come from single-parent respond differently towards personal satisfaction and school satisfaction. While the different response come only from students who are from whole parent towards the satisfaction of schools.4 The two kinds of students, though they may be in different grades, respond in the same attitude toward the general well—being.There is no difference which was witnessed in other fields except the satisfaction degree of the specific sphere of life. The difference lies in single-parent students. The whole family students present a remarkable in the satisfaction besides their class.5 In the structure of family, the family whose member are only father and children, is not different from the whole family in the process of upbringing. On the other hand, the situation of the family whose member are mother and children, is to the contrary.6 As for gender, we witness there is no difference from the single father about the nurturing styles towards the gender while single mother present another situation. In general, the single father attaches more importance to boys in rules and regulations while the single mother bundles girls with more strictness in this aspect.7 There is no significant difference of the parental nurturing styles among grades, whether their family is broken or not,8 There are partial interactions between the parenting nurturing styles and subjective happiness. However, it is not enough to make use of manner of upbringing to predicate the degree of happiness which existing among students.
