"The new art curriculum standards" advocates students to participate actively, eager to explore and more hands-on within the "Design ? Application" area of the fine arts curriculum. Through this research to explore how to combine the students' physiological and psychological characteristics, application the classroom teaching subject model, develop the ability of design awareness training students' practical operations, acquire new knowledge, new experience and analytical and problem solving skills, improve the art of classroom teaching quality and child the ability of lifelong learning, in the elementary school fine arts "design ? application" learning areasAll kinds of thinking and consciousness of the key period is formed during childhood, raises elementary student design consciousness is the requirements of The Times, adapt to the needs of society, is the study other academic knowledge necessary condition. This study proposes design awareness based on "The new art curriculum standards" , "Design ? Application" learning in cultivating students' requirements. It is outside objective thing in the brain produces new things reflected and how do we reflect with a new way of thinking, new perspective on problems and solving problems, from a sense change inherent in thought and behavior. In the elementary school fine arts course learning design of the basic knowledge, basic skills, aesthetic feelings, know design and people, nature, social relations, so as to form can guide appreciation and design ability thinking ability. Design consciousness ability can make the person from the Angle of the design to find problems, consideration question, form innovation, and can reasonable impulses with things so that realize the meaning of search, authors, method to solve the problem; Also accord with the requirement of a harmonious society, can teach students to adhere to the people-oriented, pay attention to the environmental protection, concerned about the principle of social, sensitive to others.This paper adopts relevant education theory research and further school classroom undertake the class example analysis method, in cultivating pupils design consciousness ability, analyzed methods to explore strategies. The paper summarizes some effective teaching methods and strategies, aims to help other art teacher in cultivating pupils design consciousness when relevant teaching ability to provide reference.
