By the further development of new musical curriculum reform, the advanced instructional ideal for guiding practice only can be shown by abundant creative instructional activities which should be carried out by teachers. Instructional design, which is the core between instructional theory and practice, is the significant factor to assess if the teacher is professional as well as the touchstone to check teacher' s creative competence. Only catching the spirit - innovation, musical instruction can be activated to achieve that teachers' wisdom and creation can inspire students' . The thesis researches essence of musical instructional design as beginning, discusses the innovative essence, explores the theory and practical mode and expatiates on how to innovate musical instructional design.There are three chapters in thesis. In the first chapter, it summarizes theoretical basis of musical instructional design essence from four aspects, humanity basis, creation basis, instruction basis and design basis; then briefly introduce development of instructional design, elucidate connotation, character, innovative essence and necessity, three instructional design modes - objectivism, construction and activity construction. The second chapter, which is the key point of thesis, is to expatiate in details on how to operate design mode of activity construction instruction for musical teachers. It bases on the practical research of musical instructional design innovation as the same time. Four aspects will be mentioned as followings: design of studying activity, design of studying environment, design of studying-motive system, appraise and rethink design. For musical study activity design, this chapter expatiates from musical activity or thesis design, basic course design of musical activity, supervision design of musical activity, and appraisal design of musical activity with practical examples. The third chapter provides suggestion for innovative music instruction design and expatiates from both applicable principles of innovative music instructional design and qualification of innovative teachers.
