Teachers' Ethics In The Analects Of Confucius And Its Application To The Current Construction Of Teachers' Ethics

Education is expected to revitalize the nation and teachers are expected to revitalize education. The key to teachers'development is teachers'ethics[1]. Professional ethics of teachers is not only a basic criterion for the undertaking of education, but also the key to the development of education. With the come-up of the strategy of developing the nation through science and education and the current diversification of education, the teaching profession is receiving more and more attention, but people pay more attention to the diversification of teachers'expertise. The professional ethics, however, is relatively neglected. But people have to attach importance to teachers'ethics as over these years, teachers frequently behave out of their ethics. At the present, how to solve the problem of teachers'lack of teachers'ethics is particularly important.In 1988, Nobel Prize winners gathered in the Paris for a meeting. The first sentence of the declaration issued after the meeting is: "If mankind want to survive in the 21st century and avoid global chaos, we must go back to the word of 2500 years ago to absorb the wisdom of Confucius [2]. " Meanwhile, since the 21st century, the foundation of Confucius Institutes around the world fully demonstrates that when the world today is considering the coordination of economic development and ethics, the spotlight has been put to the Confucius, accurately to The Analects of Confucius.This article starts from The Analects of Confucius, trying to analyze the teachers'ethics in The Analects of Confucius, based on which the teachers'ethics in The Analects of Confucius are included into the current scope of teachers'ethics construction to solve the existing problems. This article consists of three aspects: the first part is to analyze the current situation of teachers'ethics based on the facts, conclude and analyze the existing problems with this regards. The second part is to conclude the basic requirements regarding the teachers'ethics in The Analects of Confucius" from the basic concept of teachers'ethics. The third part is to attempt to change the current problems regarding teachers'ethics with the teachers'ethics in The Analects of Confucius after analyzing the current situation and cause of the teachers'ethics and the teachers'ethics in The Analects of Confucius.
