Stereotype is a kind of stable viewpoint or perspective toward a certain social group, which is generally related to some character and behavior. Nowdays, it has become one of essential research areas in social cognition. Since research mothod is introduced into psychology, the researches on have entered a deeper lever—implicit stereotype. Gender implicit stereotype,in particular, is paid closed attention by scholars. In China, due to long-term effects of tradition thoughts, people universally hold the view that men are superior to women. Disseminated in this traditional cultural environment, people gradually have many stereotypes about gender. In this research, we focus on different kinds of behaviors to explore how Chinese people generally perceive to discover implicit thoughts on early children plays, household behaviors and daily activities.In the study, we firstly collected materials through interviews and questionnaires to program an IAT in computer via E-prime. The IAT contained three main part , early children plays, household behavior and daily activities. We drew the conclusion that there were significant gender implicit stereotypes in the three activities or behaviors, but no gender difference indicated in all.
