In today's society, innovation is the soul of scientific and technological progress. Therefore, the outstanding innovation ability of a country has apparently become a symbol of a country's strength. The intense competition between countries are mainly economic competition, and the main performance of competitive power is the competition of science and technology innovation. We must have the talent of innovation if we want to create something. If we have the resources of innovation talent, the development of the foundation of intellectual economy has been built. Therefore, the core competitive strength of a country can be enhanced.Universities take the important responsibility of training the talent persons of innovation which can meet the needs of the society. If the task want to be accomplished , universities must have a number of innovative teachers. The various management system guiding and restricting teachers' development and growth in a great extent. And they play a very important role to the teachers'innovate ability. Each university has a number of management systems, and in these management systems, personnel management system has the most direct effect for teachers'growth. That is to say, the personnel management system plays the most important role for the teachers weather they can be talent persons of innovation.According to Marx, person is the most powerful productivity. To develop the productivity, we should respect the personality and the people's pioneering spirit. In Marx's view, the free development of personality is to liberate people and let people become independent .People can not be the system or other's appendage .They are completely independent individuals, so that it can develop the person's potential. When the individual freedom have greatly developed, people have creativity, because creativity originates from the personality. A man without qualities may not have creativity. Without man's free development, there is no possibility for the whole development of individuals. And then, the person's personality can not be fully developed, and it is hard to grow to be the talent person of innovation. Therefore, on the basis of other researcher achievements, this paper research and think the contradictions between the current management system of universities in our country and Marx personality theory. And to explore Marx personality theory to guide the personnel management system reform of universities. It can be helpful for teachers' growth and development, so that the teachers can become innovative teachers. Then they can cultivate more excellent talents for the country and society, thereby, the economic development will be speeding up and the national core competitiveness will be stepping up.
