The Influence Of New Media Environment On College Students' Ideological And Political Education And Corresponding Countermeasures

New media bases on the information dissemination of new technology such as the digital, network and multimedia, which build a global, open and an all-round information space through its digital, alternation, high technical support, and it not only brings opportunities to the ideological and political education, but also brings challenges to our educational environment, educators and students' values. With the advent of new media, revolutionary changes happened in spread subject, object, technology, content, form and information quantity, speed, and dissemination concepts; Almost all the social organizations and individuals can obtain information and express themselves with emerging media because of its equal, free, interactive, and open transmission characteristics. College students as special groups with high academic level accept and disseminate new media very common. New media has become an important part of their study, communication and life. New media environment is producing a subtle effect on college students' behavior, value judgment, mental health, and moral concept formation. Although new media provides college students an effective way to learn knowledge and obtain information, it cannot avoid producing negative influences to college students' thought and psychology because of the bad information. New media puts forward new requirements to the ideological and political education for college students. Only Colleges respond to new media actively and construct ideological and political education system adapt to the comprehensive development of students, can they realize educational target of cultivating qualified socialist builders and reliable successors, promote social fairness, achieve social harmony to the greatest extent and complete the CPC's strategy of human resources power.This paper firstly defines and classifies the concept of new media based on the relevant research abroad and in China. Secondly it describes characteristics such as originality, occult, equality and timeliness to analysis the new media's influence on college students in-depth. It clarifies new media's positive role in educating college students through such ways as richness of college ideological and political education mode, necessary means for colleges educational workers to start ideological and political education work, an effective tool of self education for students. At the same time, the paper clarify the negative effects on educating college students through such ways as negative impact on college students' correct outlook on life and the values, contributing to college students' bad lifestyles, weakening the ideological and political education workers'face-to-face communication with students.At last, universities will strengthen the infrastructure of new media under exploring its environment, bringing technology and transmission into full play. Universities will also make the organic combination of ideological and political education and the infrastructure of new media so as to provide theory support and approach.
