The Influence And Countermeasures Research Of New Media Technologies On College Students’ Ideological And Political Education

As the most fast and efficient means of communication in modern society, new mediatechnology’ spread and the extent of its application have been unprecedented strengthened. Inthis context, Chinese ideological and political education began to pay attention to combiningthe ideological and political theory teaching with new media technologies. On the macro level,the paper analyzed the current ideological and political education from the perspective of thegeneralized mode of communication. On the micro level, this paper makes a summary ofexisting new media communication model of contemporary ideological and politicaleducation from the technical level. Development and innovation of new media technologieshas penetrated into every aspect of life of the masses, at the same time, it also provides newopportunities for ideological and political education work. However, as a product of scienceand technology development, new media technology also makes the ideological and politicaleducation work faces new problems and challenges.In this thesis, sating from the concepts of traditional and new media and its specific type,the author made an inductive analysis of the general characteristics of new media technologies,so that the people can understand the knowledge of new media technologies in a certaindegree. Based on this, the author analyzed the positive and negative impact of new media onthe ideological and political education work. What is more, the author also discussed thereason for the negative impact from the aspects of government regulators, educators, studentsthemselves and then f put forward corresponding countermeasures.The “double-edged sword” impact of new media technologies on contemporaryideological and political education is not a easy problem that can be solved in a certain periodor at a certain kind of social system in a short time, while they are long-standing with theaccompany of social progress and innovation of new media technologies. Therefore, we musthave a correct understanding of this objective reality fundamentally, and expand the positiveimpact of new media technologies from the perspective of each round. At the same time,reducing its negative effects, allowing the development and ideological and politicaleducation of new media technologies skillfully combined and making it serve for he ideological and political education work.
