With the deep reform of elementary educational curriculum and the advance of quality education, school-based curriculum as an important component of the national curriculum, has been regarded as a hot topic in the current educational area. With the support of national curriculum policies and the guidance of related specialists, school-based curriculum development arouses the enthusiasm of schools and teachers, which benefits the reform of our country's elementary educational curriculum effectively.Ancient Village, as a crystallization of outstanding traditional Chinese culture, has rich cultural resources and is regarded as a collection of both material culture and non-material culture. In the face of current phenomena, for example, traditional culture is being abandoned while foreign culture is highlighted, how to flourish outstanding Chinese traditional culture is an important issue. Undoubtedly, the establishment of school-based curriculum is the best way to solve the existing problems. School-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture is conducive for the students to understand the local customs, to develop their love for their hometown, motherland, and also is helpful to the heritage and development of the outstanding traditional culture. Above all, how to use effectively the local cultural resources to develop school-based curriculum and optimize its structure is the most important thing in the development of school-based curriculum of Ancient Village Culture.Based on the special value of culture on education, this dissertation takes advantage of content analysis, field survey and interview to analyze the Ancient Village Cultural Resources, the value orientation and target position of Ancient village cultural school-based curriculum, and the content selection of school-based curriculum. Meanwhile, it illustrates from the perspectives of the development condition, principles, main body, ways to implement and evaluate of school-based curriculum the development and design of Ancient Village Cultural school-based curriculum. It also puts forward the developing conditions and influential factors of Ancient Village Cultural school-based curriculum and some concrete optimization strategies of curriculum development. The purposes of this thesis are to expand the development of ancient village school-based curriculum, optimize the curriculum structure, provide new ideas to the development of school-based curriculum of ancient village, and provide approaches to inherit and develop the ancient village culture.The whole dissertation consists of six chapters.Chapter I:Introduction. This chapter introduces the background of school-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture, explains the aims, significance, ideas and methods of this thesis, and presents some concepts related to the research.Chapterâ…¡:The appeal for school-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture. From dilemma of Ancient Village Culture, it analyzes the developing value of ancient village cultural school-based curriculum, illustrates the necessity of its development. Then, the possibility is discoursed from two aspects, i.e., the system space provided by the new reform of elementary educational curriculum and the requirement of the times.Chapterâ…¢:The cultural resources of Ancient Village and the value orientation of school-based curriculum. This chapter elaborates the cultural resources of Ancient Village from four aspects, namely, historical cultural resources, folk cultural resources, skills cultural resources and aesthetic and arts cultural resources. It also explains the value orientation of school-based curriculum development.Chapterâ…£:Target positioning and content selection for school-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture. The objectives of school-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture are first summarized. Based on these objectives, the selection of cultural school-based curriculum content was discussed. Then the types of school-based curriculum of Ancient Village Culture and its content are analyzed.Chapterâ…¤:Development and design of school-based curriculum of Ancient Village Culture. This chapter mainly discusses the conditions, the principles, the main body, the ways to implement and the curriculum evaluation of school-based curriculum of Ancient Village Culture.Chapter VI:Analysis of the influencing factors and optimization strategies of school-based curriculum development of Ancient Village Culture. The influencing factors of developing Ancient Village Cultural School-based Curriculum are analyzed and some optimization strategies are proposed based on these analyses.
