This research aims at inspecting Vocational Education and Training (VET) teachers' professional development policy in recent ten years through analyzing the literature from CEDEFOP, especially from TTnet. Based on the analysis, considering the development of economic and society and reviewing the VET reform, the experience of VET teachers' professional development in European Union is refined at the end of research. There are five parts in this research.The first part describes the background of VET teachers' professional development in European Union. Information and Communication Technologies, the EU integration process and VET reform is mainly considered as the background.The second part and the third part are the main parts of this research. The second part is about the development and implementations of the policies which can promote the VET teachers' professional development are discussed in details. On the development of the policies, the process is mainly elaborated. On the implementation of policies, three strategies are briefly introduced. The third part analyses the demands of VET teachers' professional development in European Union. The process of the VET teachers' professional development in the past ten years is very important to the research, so the research put it as the entry point of the entry point. Combing the focuses in the ten years, the demands can be generalized. At the end of this part, the policies are interpreted.The fourth part is the foothold of the research. Based on the introduction of the basic situation of the VET teachers' professional development in China, the features of European and China's VET teachers' professional development are compared.The fifth part is the conclusion of the research. Several selected experiences are recommended to policy-maker in our country. These experiences maybe can contribute to improve relevant policy in our country. It is also be mentioned that there are lots of shortages in the research. It is necessary to concern the research about VET teachers' professional development.
