The education of school should set up guiding ideology of health first ,practically strengthen the sports work." The carrying out of《Sports(and health)curriculum standard》gives school bigger space in aspect of curriculum, and proposes higher request to university. Especially incontent of course, university should unceasingly innovate things, linking to own reality toopen many exercise way to enhance the student's healthy body and satisfy conte porary student's need in university. Line dance gal is novel exercise way to be good in body, deeply attracting in student in university.In accordance of the current situation that there are no Line dance courses in the P.E majors of physical universitites, this paper has carried out an investigation into the RE majors of 8 universities and colleges namely, Noimnal University of shanxi University,xi'an physical education of University,shannxi teacher's University Baoji University of arts and science, xi'an University of arts and science,xi'an oil University.lt is estimated that among the subjects who have been investigated84.3%believe that it is necessary to establish Line dancecourse,11.2%think it has no much significance whether it is established or not,only 4.6%believe that it no need to set up this course. These numbers reflect the urgent demand for Line dance by P.E major of Normal Universities and even the whole society. Through the feasible study of establishing Line dance course in P.E major of Normal Universities, the paper aims at cultivating P.E teachers who major in Line dance, pursuit for harmonious rhythmic realm and who will teach students how to love people and society so as to make a positive contribution to building a harmonious society and improving the quality of the whole people.
