Feasible Study On Offering IAAF Kids Athletics Course In High Normal Universities In Shanxi Province

Track and field is the base of other sports.It contains thenecessary human life and survival of the walk, run, jump, and otherbasic movement skill. And it can develop the physical quality. Inorder to improve Chinese students interested in track and field, theIAAF regional development center introduce the IAAF kids’ athletics.Due to the lack of professional teachers, the IAAF kids’ athleticsencounter many obstacles in the development process. Physicaleducation major in the universities is the cradle of training physicaleducation teachers, It is opening the IAAF kids’ athletics course inPhysical Education in universities that conducive to the project inthe development of the sports teaching in primary and secondaryschools to lay a solid foundation.The results showed that feasible study on offering IAAF kidsathletics course in high normal universities in shanxi province asthe main line. By using literature method, interview, questionnairesurvey method, mathematical statistics method and SWOT to carryon the research analysis method. Conducted a field interview andquestionnaire survey to the Shanxi province university sportseducation specialized students, and aim at a comprehensive analysis of the IAAF kids athletics course in college sports majorsin Shanxi feasibility.The results showed that the IAAF kids’ athletics is one of theknowledge and teaching skills of the future primary and secondaryschool physical education teachers are necessary, provided theIAAF kids’ athletics in Shanxi physical education is feasible. Withthe SWOT analysis of Shanxi college physical educationprofessionals kids’ athletics course condition analysis indicatesthat the IAAF kids’ athletics project lies in the physical educationmajor in universities offer advantages, the facilities of the resourcerich in colleges and Universities, specialty in Universities PEteacher resources, rich sports culture resources in Colleges andUniversities. The weakness is that the students recognized theextent of the kids’ athletics course low, Some school leaders don’tsupport, the lack of systematic kids’ athletics course materials. Theopportunity is that sports industry has become the national strategy,track and field projects into the new space for development, therelevant departments of the state support. The threats is that in thetrack and field project social atmosphere is not strong, on theinnovation consciousness of college students majoring in physicaleducation challenge, IAAF Kids’ athletics project propaganda is notenough.Put forward to solve the problems that exists in the followingseveral Suggestions:1, Professional teachers are the basicconditions to open the children’s interesting track and fieldcourse.2, Government support is a solid foundation to open thechildren’s interesting track and field course.3, Constructing reasonable curriculum system.4, To write system materials.5,Teachers and students innovation consciousness.6, Strengthen thekids’ athletics project publicity.
