Study On Difficult Employment Of Graduate Students Majoring In Law And Measures

At present,in China, the employment situation of college students is increasingly urgent, and the employment rate of graduate students is gradually decreasing. At the same time, graduate students majoring in law are facing serious condition of employment. Therefore,the research about difficult employment of graduate students majoring in law is urgent and significant. Firstly,the difficulty in employment of graduate students majoring in law will directly influence their personal lives and emotions and cause a lot of problems and conflicts, which will affect building China's harmonious society and harmonious campus. Secondly, as an important issue, the employment is related to people's vital interests and livelihoods.Finally, whether graduate students majoring in law succeed in getting jobs or not to a degree reflects the quality of the current education and level of law major, and it will affects the development of popularizing law education among people. As a consequence, we do a research about the current employment situation of graduate students majoring in law and some factors influencing the employment in order to come up with answers to the problem, which is significant to the construction of harmonious society and harmonious campus, the development of law education, the popularization of law education and graduate students majoring in law themselves.The first part of the thesis mainly includes the description of the current employment situation of graduate students,through the investigation of 2010 sessions of law graduate students in Guizhou University.The second part is about the reasons of the difficult employment situation of graduate students majoring in law which mainly analyses by some factors:graduate students majoring in law, law education, employment market,employment policies and so on.In the aspect of graduate students majoring in law themselves, they lack of employment ability and their concepts of employment deviate.Besides,the subject settings, curriculum contents and training systems of law education don't meet the demand of social reality.Moreover, disordered operations and imperfect operating mechanisms of the employment market of graduate students also hinder their employment. Finally, at present, some irrational employment policies and unbalanced development of different areas affect graduate students majoring in law's successful employment,too.Based on previous analysis, the third part puts forward ideas and measures of solving the difficulty of current graduate students majoring in law's employment.Here is brief look at some measures.The government should strengthen macroeconomic regulation and control and some necessary guidance of policies, and improve the postgraduate students market.Colleges and universities should reform teaching content and curriculum settings in order to perfect the training mechanisms and strengthen the guidance of graduate students'employment. Employers also should transform the concept of employees and establish a fair and appropriate mechanism.
