To teach writing has been the important and difficult points in junior Chinese teaching. While in teaching middle school writing practice, the practice of written languages has been very weak and is a problem easily neglected. So far, from related newspaper or network resources, we couldn't find any research on how Cantonese affects written languages. Therefore, this research article focuses on the ways how Cantonese affects written languages and the Cantonese district students'thinking characteristics which influence their written language expressions. It also seeks the reasons students are lacking in the written languages and recommends practical solutions.Firstly, this article reveals the background and importance of written languages and briefly describes the significance and status of written languages in the Junior Schools of Cantonese dialect districts (towns in Dongguan). It is a reflection of inefficiency on teaching writing. Through the ways of doing surveys and making examples, it deeply discusses the reasons why junior students have poor vocabulary in written languages and their manifestations. It also summarizes the difficulties of teaching writing in the towns in Dongguan.Secondly, this article explores the factors that influence the levels of written languages. It first elaborates Cantonese's affects on written languages----investigating students'language attitudes on Cantonese and analyzing how Cantonese impacts written languages; then starting from junior students'thinking characteristics, it specifically analyzes the ways that how thinking affects written languages; finally it briefly describes how teachers'daily teaching behaviors influences junior students'written languages.Thirdly, from three theories:Training a good sense of phrase is the premise of improving students'written languages; training thinking is the basic way to improve students'quality on written languages; insisting humanities-oriented is the base of students'written languages qualities, it specifically discourses the ways and strategies in details on improving students'written languages. This is the emphasis of the whole article and the research purpose lies here.
