Mathematical problem solving is the most elementary form in the action of mathematical learning, but a number of middle school students fell frequently chaos and difficulty in the process of solve mathematical problems. Carelessness always makes mistakes, as a result confidence and interesting lost. At present, from the situation of problem solving we can see that many students are short of autonomies and self-awareness in mathematical problem solving, and at great degree they exist passive and unattentively. For the sake of enhancing ability of problem solving students should develop their self-monitoring in the mathematical problem solving. Study the mathematical problem solving is of momentous significance. Mathematical's abstract brings about the importance of mathematical self-monitoring; Self-monitoring is the key to developing students mathematical ability and improving the achievement of mathematical study; developing mathematical self-monitoring can also be used for reference to other courses. This paper will research the following two matters: 1.Pertinence between mathematical self-monitoring and students'SOLO grade level. 2. Pertinence between mathematical result and mathematical self-monitoring and students'SOLO grade level. We can arrival at three conclusions through the study: 1.Mathematical self-monitoring have an obvious effect on mathematical result. 2. There is great pertinence between mathematical self-monitoring and students'SOLO grade level. 3. There is great pertinence between mathematical result and students'SOLO grade level.Four recommendations can be offered on the basis of this paper's conclusions: 1.Let students study mathematics independently and actively. 2. Strengthen the teacher-student dialogue and the exchange between students. 3. Develop scene teaching and let students learn through their own experiences. 4. Strengthen students'review consciousness and ability in mathematical problem solving.
