Mathematics is important part of human culture and is also the outcome of the development of society, which propels the society forward. Representing the culture of mathematics in mathematics teaching is a new requirement in the New Curriculum, so how to represent the culture of mathematics in teaching is a vital task for teachers.For one thing, the essay advances the concept of the culture of mathematics from the aspect of teaching. It also gives a clear explanation of the intention of the mathematics culture, which provides relative theories about mathematics teaching. For another thing, according to the research results, some principles of teaching designs and solutions are put forward. What's more, the accomplishments of theory research results are applied to the classroom teaching through practical cases.This paper argues that: mathematical culture is characterized by its rational spirit, humanistic spirit, thinking, practical, aesthetic and education; high school mathematics teaching mathematics culture ways are presented the history of mathematics, mathematical thinking, mathematical beauty show, experience mathematical application. Finally, according to the problems and difficulties in teaching, some suggestions about teachers, teaching materials and ways of evaluation are made from three aspects: (1) Teachers should update the sense of teaching, enrich the knowledge of mathematics culture and master the strategies of mathematics culture.(2) The arrangement of teaching materials which is supposed to have gradation should be perfect for the age characteristics and cognitive level of the students. (3) In the mathematics teaching, diverse aims of evaluation should be built up, which helps the development of the personalities and potentials of each student.This essay draws on the theories, practical experience and research results of some experts. At the same time, the author adds her teaching experience and thoughts of years to the essay, which are expected to conclude and find something new to solve the problems about how to represent mathematics culture in teaching in order to take advantage of educational functions of mathematics culture.
