With the development of the times,mathematical culture has become more and more important in education.The Compulsory Education Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2011Edition)emphasizes that "teaching materials can appropriately introduce background knowledge of mathematical content",and the newly revised General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as the new standards)also The newly revised General High School Mathematics Curriculum Standards(hereafter referred to as the new standards)also mention that mathematical culture should be integrated into mathematics teaching and learning activities.Teachers can design their teaching from the perspective of mathematical culture to make students understand mathematical knowledge more deeply,perceive the scientific,application,cultural and aesthetic values of mathematics,develop students’ core literacy in mathematics,enhance their humanistic background and scientific spirit,and implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education.This study intends to develop a middle school mathematics classroom teaching design that incorporates mathematical culture.Since the secondary mathematics test questions play a leading and guiding role for teachers’ teaching,the test questions involving mathematical culture in the mathematics test papers of the last three years in Shihezi,Xinjiang,from 2018 to 2020 were analyzed,and it was found that(1)the secondary test questions contained mathematical culture-related test questions with a certain proportion,and the mathematical culture content in the test questions was based on real-life background;(2)the mathematical culture test questions in the secondary test(2)The content chosen is from textbooks or adaptations of famous mathematical questions.Teachers should use textbooks as the main source of mathematical culture materials and supplement them with cultural materials from outside the classroom.The questionnaire consists of two main parts: a survey of students’ knowledge of mathematical culture,and a survey of students’ attitudes toward mathematical culture.culture in the classroom,and hope to integrate mathematical culture in the mathematics classroom;(2)teachers’ communication of mathematical culture has a great influence on students,and teachers’ teaching is the main channel for students to understand mathematical culture.After these two investigations,it is concluded that classroom teaching that incorporates mathematical culture is feasible and teachers can design their teaching from a mathematical culture perspective.With the help of the mathematical culture teaching model proposed by Professor Wang Xiaoqin,from the concept of developing students’ core mathematical and cultural literacy,combining humanistic learning theory,Bruner’s cognitive discovery theory,and Freidenthal’s modern mathematics education theory,teachers can explore the moral,knowledge,application,and humanistic educational values embedded in mathematical culture,and select the content of "The Pythagorean Theorem " The study shows that when mathematical culture is integrated with mathematics,the students will be able to learn and teach mathematics.The results of the study show that when mathematical culture is integrated with mathematics education,it can achieve from the understanding of knowledge to the transfer of knowledge to the innovation of knowledge,and the classroom teaching design incorporating mathematical culture reflects the five dimensions of knowledge origin,subject connection,aesthetic entertainment,multiculturalism and social role,which can cultivate students’ spirit of independent exploration and questioning as well as their ability to discover,propose,analyze and solve problems.It can develop students’ mathematical abstraction,mathematical modeling and other mathematical core literacy and cultural literacy,implement the fundamental task of establishing moral education,and promote secondary school teaching reform.Based on the above theoretical and practical studies,several teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)the classroom teaching design that incorporates mathematical culture should highlight the concept of nurturing people with five educations;(2)teachers need to continuously improve their own cultural literacy and consciously accumulate mathematical cultural materials;(3)the classroom teaching design that incorporates mathematical culture should integrate mathematical culture in a holistic and natural way.
